Sironi la Pizza
When Milanese master baker Alfredo Sironi, the one behind the legendary loaves at Markthalle Neun, turns his hand to pizza, the result is anything but ordinary. At his only pizzeria, tucked into a prime Schöneberg corner on Goltzstraße, Sironi serves ucrispy, thin-crust pies made with 80% spelt flour. The dough hits that magical sweet spot between chew and crackle, not quite Roman-style, but distinctly its own thing. Toppings are classic Italian, but it's the base that steals the show, deeply flavorful and evenly baked, and really unlike any other in Berlin. Which makes Sironi la Pizza a serious slice worth the detour.
